CSS Sculptor comes ready-to-use with over 45 of the most common layouts. Choose from fixed width, liquid (resizes with browser window), elastic (scales with font sizes) or hybrid (combines liquid and elastic) layouts with 1, 2 or 3 columns and an optional full width header area and fixed or standard footer.

Create and modify your own

All preset layouts included with CSS Sculptor can be quickly modified to suit your needs and then saved as a new preset or overwrite the old one. Duplicate, delete, import or export layout presets easily with the CSS Sculptor Layout Manager. CSS Sculptor layouts work with SiteAssist Professional and can import designs from SuCasa.

Total background capabilities

Bring your layouts to life through the Design tab. Set background colors or background images for the body or any other layout component with all properties available. Easily create faux columns or outer page edges with this powerful feature.

Full border control

Add any type of CSS border–-solid, dashed, dotted and so on--to any layout element. Specify color, width and placement (all or top, right, bottom, and left individually) for the outer containing element to give the page a full border or just add side borders to separate columns.

Style paragraphs and headings

Quickly set the basic font properties for the entire page—and then refine them for individual page areas. Choose from an enhanced list of font-families common to PCs and Macs, define font size, line height, weight and other CSS text properties.

Define all link states

Establish the look-and-feel for all your link states so that they work with the design of the page. CSS Sculptor gives you full design control over link, visited, hover, active and even focus pseudo-classes.

Set up your page, your way

Need a fixed width layout that’s 900 pixels wide with 2 right columns and one on the left? It’s just a couple of clicks away with CSS Sculptor. You’re free to change page position (left, right or center) or add minimum and/or maximum width values as well. Add a top nav, header or footer as you like. For fixed width designs, CSS Sculptor supports equal column lengths—and even generates the background image you need for the faux column technique!

Print style sheet included

CSS Sculptor makes quick work of converting your screen layout to one more suitable for print. Global settings allow you to convert all divs to the width of the page, change your color scheme to black and white and set the margins and paddings to zero. You can also individually control these settings and hide any layout components for print.

Follow the CSS markup tree

CSS Sculptor features a unique tree interface that displays each of the primary CSS layout elements in the proper markup structure: divs nested within divs are shown as such. On the Box tab, you can select any element in the layout tree to modify its ID, width and height.

Powerful CSS property features

Margin and padding are two key CSS properties, capable of proper column placement as well as fine tuning of your design’s whitespace. Set all the margin and/or padding properties for any element at once—or define them separately. CSS Sculptor even gives you control over the float property so you can wrap content around div on the left or right: it’s all possible with CSS Sculptor.
